Southern Division Millwall Lionesses' shock 1-0 victory over FA Women’s Premier League high-flyers Doncaster Rovers Belles, deservedly earned them the E.ON Team of the Round Award for the Fourth Round.
The Millwall Lionesses were recognised for their Women's Cup exploits on 22 January when they were presented with their prize. The FA Women's Cup also paid a visit, providing Lionesses of all age groups with the opportunity to be photographed with the famous trophy.
Manager, Keith Boanus, said: "We are delighted to be crowned the E.ON Team of the Round.
"The girls performance at Doncaster was something to be immensely proud of. We could have been four-up in the first half and in the second half it was an excellent defensive display. The club is moving forward and we are all looking forward to the challenge we face this weekend against Blackburn."
Indeed, Millwall are currently preparing for the Fifth Round of the competition where they will host Premier League Blackburn Rovers in what should be a fascinating contest.
