Yesterday’s three big hitters – who scored 40 goals between them – enjoyed mixed fortunes in today’s draw for The FA Women’s Cup Third Round Qualifying.

Rothwell LFC from Leeds led the way with a 15-0 drubbing of North Ferriby United away from home and they now have a home tie against Newcastle United, always a big name in English football.

St Francis 2000, 13-2 winners at home to Lumley, must travel to Stockport County and Oxford United, who won 12-0 at Newbury, go to London Corinthians.

Bexhill United have been handed their third successive home draw at The Polegrove – this time against Bracknell Town – and Hampstead, who knocked out the multi-national side KIKK United at the weekend, have earned themselves a home match with Cambridge Women.

The 47 ties are scheduled for 13 November, the winners each collecting £225.
