The qualifying rounds of The FA Vase get underway on Friday night with AFC Emley v Hemsworth one of the four games scheduled.
Emley Manager Darren Bland is well aware of what his side will need to do to progress and who they will have to stop in the clash between the two Northern Counties East Division One rivals.
"I know Hemsworth well and what you always get from them is hard work and dedication, they will not be an easy team to play," he said.
"They have the potential to move on higher up the divisions so it is not going to be easy.
"We are going to have to try and match them. We have made a lacklustre start to the season, having lost our first two league games, but it's my first season here as manager and I've brought in a few new players so everyone is getting to know each other.
"They have a dangerous striker by the name of Damion Liddle who we will have to keep an eye on and if he is playing we will have to be on our toes."
Hemsworth Manager Andy Cracknell is relying on a trio of youngsters to further his side's Vase campaign as he deals with a handful of injuries in his squad.
He said: "We've got three 17-year-olds that look like getting a game, in Rikki Lee-Taylor, Will Kemp and Mike Spencer. They are all ball players that like to play football. I think at their age and at this level you have got to be pretty strong and good on the ball."
But Cracknell is looking forward to pitting his wits against Bland's Emley side.
"We are looking forward to it, we know Emley are a good competitive side," he added.
"We are very hard working, all the lads will be up for it. It will be on a nice surface which suits us as we like to pass the ball, it should be interesting."
