Preston North End were the first club to win the English Football League, Bolton Wanderers were the first club to win The FA Cup at Wembley, Tottenham Hotspur were the first professional club to win the Double, Manchester United the first English club to win the European Cup.
And Hoddesdon Town were the first club to win The FA Vase. They won the inaugural Final back in 1975, when they beat Epsom & Ewell 2-1 at Wembley.
It was a stunning achievement that put the Hertfordshire-based club in the record books and still defines them to this day, and it's against that backdrop that they once again travel to Wembley in the same competition.
But rather than the most famous stadium in the world, Vale Farm will be the venue and Wembley FC will be the opponents in The FA Vase Second Round Proper.
"Everyone still talks about that special Vase victory," explained current club chairman Roger Merton. "It remains a special day for our current supporters and those families who go back to that day.
"In our boardroom, we have pictures from the win and a replica trophy and it's something that, as a small club, we are immensely proud of."
Hoddesdon know it is unlikely they will repeat their 1975 triumph any time soon, but it's a piece of history that sets them apart from other non-League clubs.
And in Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles they also boast a former World Cup and FA Cup winner as club patron.
"Ossie has been great for us and he has helped organise charity games against Spurs legends," said Merton.
"He has been very busy recently so we haven't seen him for a while, but he is a leading light in Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's initiatives and that really helps the local community."
Hoddesdon are currently ninth in the Spartan South Midlands League but are in great form having won four games on the bounce.
And Merton added: "We played Wembley in a pre-season friendly this summer and lost 1-0 but it was down to a dodgy decision by the referee in the last minute. Hopefully this time will be different."
