Barrow striker Jason Walker has stressed his team's desire to get to Wembley, 20 years on since they last made a Final.

The 25-year-old, born and bred in Barrow, was just six when his local team last won The Trophy against Leek Town in 1990.

"I think it's everybody's dream to play at Wembley," he said.

"It's going to be a tough task to get there, but we'll enjoy the occasion if we do and you never know what could happen in The Final.

"Our joint managers went down in the week and they said it was unbelievable, so everyone really wants to get to Wembley.

"When you're playing football in the park as a young boy, you always mention Wembley and pretend you are playing there because everyone wants to."

Salisbury City are in a good run of form in the League and rophy and will be favourites to knock Barrow out but Walker, a Manchester United fan, admitted: "We've got to go there confident really, as it's the Semi-Final.

"If we can get a decent result there, we can bring them back to our place and give it a good go."

The striker has scored goals in three different rounds of The Trophy so far and wants to continue that run in the Semi-Finals.

"I'm confident we can create chances and if I'm in the right position I'll put them away," he added.

"I've got 16 this season so it's not a bad return, although quite a few have been penalties, but you have still got to score them."

In the last two matches in The Trophy, the Barrow top scorer has scored vital penalties as his side have defeated Gateshead and York City.

"I've got a few of the lads waiting for me to miss so they can take the next one, but hopefully if I get another, I wont miss," said the striker, who also scored against Middlesbrough in The FA Cup last season.
