Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss knows his side are still a long way from Wembley, but has reminded his players that they probably won’t have a better opportunity to seal a Final spot.
Gregg Blundell’s second half goal at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium gave the Cumbrians a win in the first leg on Saturday but with another 90 minutes still to play next weekend, the tie is far from over and the Barrow squad will be made more than aware of that by Bayliss and his counterpart Darren Sheridan.
"It was two evenly matched sides out there and it will be brilliant for the club if we achieve it, but we're a long way off it yet,” Bayliss told TheFA.com after the game.
"We're half way to finishing the job and it sounds a bit obvious but we have to not concede in the second leg to go through.
"It's only 1-0, so it's very evenly balanced.”
With the prospect of a trip to Wembley on the cards though, Bayliss is urging his players not to lose focus.
"The lads in their lifetimes in football will probably never have a better chance of getting to Wembley, but Salisbury will feel the same too,” he added.
"They got the best of the draw by pulling us and we got the best of the draw by pulling them.
"We've had some tough games along the way, we beat Kettering away and York at home, and they're all good sides.”
