Barrow will be without former Everton player Nick Chadwick for their Quarter Final clash with York City on Tuesday. The striker, who scored a hat-trick in Barrow's 4-1 away win over Ebbsfleet United at the weekend, is cup-tied. Gregg Blundell returns for the Bluebirds after injury though and youngster Luke Powell may deputise for Chadwick in attack.

When the teams met earlier in the season, the game finished goalless and Barrow joint-boss David Bayliss admitted: "It's going to be a tough game but we fancy our chances on our own pitch and obviously so will York. I think luck may even come into it."

Despite the decent run in The Trophy, Barrow are still hovering around the relegation zone in the Conference Premier and Bayliss added: "The league has always been our priority but it's always good getting further in the cups because it brings in the money. In saying that, the lads are raring to go. They know this is a big game.

"York are a very good, well organised team and hard to beat. They are very dangerous up front with two good strikers in Michael Rankine and Richard Brodie."

However, York striker Brodie, the Conference Premier's joint top scorer, is suspended for the tie and midfielder Alex Lawless is also unavailable for the Minstermen due to injury.

After losing in The Final last year to Stevenage Borough, York manager Martin Foyle said: "It would be nice to get back there again and go one step further than last season. It's a great competition and it's been good for us."

York could meet Stevenage at Wembley again if they can beat Barrow, with the winner playing Salisbury City in the Semi-Finals.
