An FA Investigation took place on Friday 12 October 2007 into the alleged playing of an ineligible player by the Essex Olympian League in the First Round Tie on 8 September against the Mid Sussex League.
Having considered the matter carefully, the Panel decided that the Essex Olympian League had breached The FA Carlsberg NLS Cup Rules by playing an ineligible player.
The Panel decided that the Essex Olympian League should be removed from the Competition and that the Mid Sussex League be reinstated.
The FA Carlsberg National League System Cup Second Round tie will now be Mid Sussex League v Southern Amateur League. The tie must be completed by 1 December 2007.
