This year's Final to take place in Guernsey.
The FA Carlsberg National League System Cup
The Final
6.30pm, Saturday 1 May
The Track, St Sampsons, Guernsey
The Football Association today confirmed that The Final of The FA Carlsberg National League System Cup will take place on the island of Guernsey, thereby making it the first National Final to take place away from the mainland.
The game, which will take place at the Track in St Sampsons on Saturday 1 May, will be played between the Guernsey Senior County League and the winners of the Semi-Final tie between the Liverpool County Premier League and the surprise package in the competition, the Yorkshire Old Boys League. These two meet at the Liverpool Soccer Centre on Saturday 17 April (kick-off 2.00pm)
Mike Appleby, The FA's Leagues and Clubs Manager commented: “When we made the Semi-Final and Final draw, we were aware that The Final could be on the island.
"We did consider other options, but have agreed to stick with the original decision. By winning the Semi-Final they have earned the right to act as host for The Final and we will work with them to ensure that the arrangements are befitting such a prestigious match.
"All games to date have been well supported by the Guernsey public and we expect another excellent turnout for The Final.”
