FIND OUT MORE ABOUT POKEMON’S MASTER THE BALL

First of all, I'd like to wish everyone my best reagrds in this diifucult time of staying at home whilst we fight off this pandemic together.

As we all want to get back playing as quickly as possible, some of our England Futsal Lions wanted to challenge you, the potential Futsal stars of the future.

And we thought the best way we could do this, is for the players to show you how to do some Futsal close control skills at home and in a safe place, of course!

You don’t need a Futsal ball, any ball will do and a hard surface is best.

So as you may know, Futsal is fast and played in tight areas where you have to have high levels of technicque, speed and creativity to play out of high pressured sitiuations.

In these stay-at-home clips on ‘Skills Saturday’, you'll see a variety of different Futsal actions, such as a ‘split save’ from an England Futsal goalkeeper, to a ‘double touch’ move by an England Futsal pivot, which some of you may have heard as the ‘Iniesta la croqueta’.

You'll also see things like the ‘step-feint control’ by one of our backmen or wingers of the England Futsal senior squad. A lot of these skills the players will be showing you are used in futsal to get out of tight areas to evade opponents in 1v1 situations.

As Pokemon say, this will help all of you ‘Master the Ball’

Good luck and don’t forget to send back videos of your challenges so we can see what you can do.

Stay safe and give them a go.
