The FA Inter-League Cup 2019-20 campaign will be concluded in April and May 2021.
It's a knockout competition open for representative teams of leagues from Step 7 of the National League System and other leagues as decided by the FA, and strictly for amateur players who have never been under a written professional contract.
Taking place every two seasons, the winners of the Inter-League Cup go on to represent England in the UEFA Regions Cup. The current holders of the Inter-League Cup title are the North Riding Football League, who beat the York Football League by 4-2 in the 2018 Final.
The current campaign had to be postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
However, we're pleased to confirm that the remaining games in the FA Inter-League Cup will now be played as below.
The FA Inter-League Cup semi-final
To be completed on or before Sunday 25 April 2021, unless both Leagues mutually agree to an earlier date
Dorset Premier League v Jersey Football Combination League
The FA Inter-League Cup Final
Dorset Premier League or Jersey Football Combination v West Cheshire League
2pm, Sunday 9 May 2021
St. George's Park
Please note that all matches shall be played behind closed doors.
In relation to the Final, further details regarding match arrangements, relevant protocols, rule amendments & modifications (including player eligibility for both semi- final and Final) and details relating to travel expenses shall be communicated to leagues in due course.
We will continue to monitor the national COVID-19 situation alongside the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. Should there be additional disruption in the future, unfortunately, the competition will not be completed at a later stage.
Finally, we would like to thank all three Leagues still participating in the Competition for being patient and understanding during this challenging time.
