Lewis Dunk has received his first call-up to the England senior team.

The Brighton & Hove Albion defender replaces Burnley’s James Tarkowski, who has been forced to withdraw from Gareth Southgate’s 25-man squad through injury.

26-year-old Dunk will report to St. George’s Park alongside the rest of the squad on Monday, ahead of preparations for successive away fixtures against Croatia and Spain in the UEFA Nations League.

Dunk's only previous international involvement was a solitary call-up for the Under-21 squad, for whom he was an unused substitute in a 5-0 win over Iceland and a 2-1 defeat away to Belgium in November 2011.

With two away trips in October, why not come and watch the Three Lions in action on home soil next month? England face USA at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 15 November and then Croatia on Sunday 18 November and tickets are on sale for both games now.
