Why Futsal? I chose to play Futsal because you get a lot more touches of the ball where as In football sometimes you don't touch the ball for a long time, there's a lot more goals in Futsal which makes it more entertaining to watch.
Best game you have ever played in? Best game I've played in would be the Grand Final last year against Helvecia playing for Oxford City Lions because we had our goalkeeper sent off after ten minutes and we didn't have a sub goalkeeper so we played with an outfield player in goal for 30+ minutes and managed to win the game on penalties which secured us a place in the UEFA Futsal Cup
Best football or Futsal club you played for? The best Futsal club I have played for is Baku United Futsal Club because at the time they was the only professional team in England and had some of the best players in Europe who had won a World Cup like Marcelo. They had competed in the elite round of the UEFA Futsal Cup against Barcelona.
Best player played with? Is a tough one because I've been lucky enough to play with a lot of high class players like Marcelo Roberto Tobe, Cidao, Carlos Munoz and Jose Carlos but I would say Jonathan Camara because he's a similar player to me in terms of body stature so I always tried to learn from him.

Why Futsal? As most English players do, I grew up playing football. I'd always seen and heard good things about Futsal growing up, but had never played the sport. I joined the Futsal team when I got the university and my love for the game has grown from there. Futsal has given me the opportunity to win and challenge for the title at the top level of the sport in this country and to learn from some of the top players in the game. My aim is to continue to learn and push myself to perform at the next level.

Best game you have ever played in? It has to be Germany away last year playing in front of the biggest crowd of my career and being live on German television. We drew that game 3-3, I scored the opener and my first goal for England and we scored a last minute equaliser. It was also Luke Ballinger's 100th cap so the game had great significance for us.

Why Futsal? I started playing Futsal through university. The opportunity for rapid improvement and growth along with the enjoyment provided by the game itself kept me increasingly involved.
Best game you have ever played in? It could many, for different reasons. The best team I have been up against would be Ukraine in the Euro Qualifiers, but Sweden at home in the Copperbox was pretty crowded and there was a great atmosphere there too. As far as club Futsal, for Loughborough I played in great games in Super League play-offs, with Baku, Baltic and also Genesis over two-legs were pretty intense. University both for my undergraduate in BUCs semis in Brunel was probably the most intense atmosphere I have ever experienced in Futsal, whilst the game this year with Nottingham Trent in varsity against Uni of Nottingham was incredibly packed and loud too. Many to choose from, but I would have to say Ukraine, as the level was just too high and impressive!

Why Futsal? I love to study the patterns of play in Futsal as well as the special techniques which separate it from football. When I watch a game, there is always something to focus on and when you play you get much more of the ball. People enjoy watching passing possession football, that's every Futsal game.
Best game you have ever played in? Every time I play for England is such an honour it could be any game. But narrowly losing to Hungary 5-4 in the main World Cup qualifying round in December 2015. The team really showed we have the potential at the next level. Also the atmosphere when we played Germany in Hamburg October 2016 was incredible, or against Sweden at home... I've enjoyed quite a lot of them.

Why Futsal? Futsal is football in its purest form, there's no hiding and it develops tactical awareness and technical ability quicker than football. In my opinion, Futsal also increases team unity and highlights the value of working as part of a group, as well as individually, it should be the starting point for any aspiring athlete in football/Futsal.
