The England squad were back out on the training pitch at St. George's Park on Wednesday morning as they step up preparations for Friday's Euro 2016 Qualifier against Estonia.

Roy Hodgson's men have already qualified for the Finals in France in 2016, but two more wins this get-together will complete their Group E campaign with a 100 per cent record.

Three players sat out of the session, which was open to the media for 15 minutes. Captain Wayne Rooney, Liverpool striker Danny Ings and Swansea City's Jonjo Shelvey were not involved, while Hodgson brought along one of the England U17s players to join in.

Everton's young midfielder Tom Davies, who is currently at St. George's Park with Neil Dewsnip's team as they get ready to fly to Chile for the FIFA U17s World Cup, took part alongside the senior players.

England will train once more on Thursday before travelling down to London for their final home qualifier under the arch, where more the 75,000 fans are expected to be in attendance.

The Three Lions have won all three of their previous meetings with Estonia, scoring seven and conceding none, but with an outside chance of making one of the play-off places for Euro 2016, the visitors will be keen to reverse that trend.

The last time they met at Wembley, England won 3-0 in October 2007 with Rooney on the scoresheet. And he also netted the only goal in Tallinn last October, when they won their third qualifier of their current run of eight consecutive wins.

England have scored 26 goals in this qualifying campaign – only Poland have scored more (29) – and are unbeaten in their last 13 fixtures (W10 D3).

It is their best run since a 15-game streak between October 2005 and October 2006.
