Fara Williams has scored 37 international goals

When Fara Williams leads the England team out against Sweden at Hartlepool, she will officially become the most capped player in the history of English football.

Despite not being captain, head coach Mark Sampson confirmed at a team meeting on Sunday morning that he will give Williams the honour of leading out her country - as she moves ahead of Rachel Yankey and into the record books.

Before the teams left for the stadium on Sunday, the above video was played to the entire squad - in tribute to one of the game's finest players.

England take on Sweden in Hartlepool at 2pm on Sunday 3 August.

Tickets are available at the gate and are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
