England kept alive their hopes of making it through to the knockout stages of the UEFA Women’s U17 Championship with a 2-1 victory over Austria.

The Young Lionesses were beaten 4-0 by Germany in the opening group match but bounced back to claim all three points in the second.

Head coach Gemma Grainger made three changes from Sunday with defender Eleanor Hack and forwards Emma Harries replacing Gracie Pearson, Fran Stables and Eleanor Dale respectively.
