And with Westley’s team currently chasing a play-off spot in League One after netting 54 goals so far this season, he believes they approach this tie with confidence.

"The Cup is ideal for a club like ours," said Westley ahead of the tie, which will be shown live on the BBC.

"It is a Cup that rewards teams that play with flair, imagination, an attacking mentality, some devil. We've got all of that about us.

"That's the game that we like to play, and if you're brave and you're attacking, you play open and you want to entertain, The FA Cup is definitely a competition that gives to you."

Former Stevenage and Preston North End boss Westley has told his players not to think of the live television audience tuning in to expect an upset.

Instead, he just wants them to focus on keeping their impressive goalscoring record going.

"We have to make sure that we score goals," he added.

"We are a side that will concede but we place our emphasis on scoring goals.

"Our work is on our pattern, our players, our routes to goal, making sure we get back to being the highest scorers in the country.

"We can still put a team out there that can win games, but we're going to have to be close to our very best if we're going to produce the unexpected.

"If you start thinking about that [being live on TV], you lose your focus.

"I would say to anybody, not to worry about who is watching."
