Leyton Orient defeat AFC Totton in FA Youth Cup

Leyton Orient produced a clinical display as they secured a 3-0 win at AFC Totton to advance to the Second Round of The FA Youth Cup.

Following a goalless first half Scott Kashket broke the deadlock before Josh Uzun bagged a brace to clinch the victory.

The east Londoners will be joined in the next phase by Chesterfield, who are also through following a hard-fought penalty shoot-out win at Chester.

Regan Egridge gave the visitors the lead with a close-range finish, but Tom Peers sent the tie into extra-time with a late strike for Chester.

However, a further 30 minutes failed to separate the two teams and with Chesterfield leading 5-4 on penalties, Tom Batten missed the decisive kick to hand the win to the away side.

And Woking have also advanced to the next round after winning by the odd goal in five at Cambridge United.
