Adam Webster has been voted 'E.ON Player of the Round' after his four-goal haul helped Hinckley United ease past Cambridge City in the Third Round Qualifying.

Webster grabbed his first on ten minutes, converting an Andy Hall free-kick after Richard Lavery headed the ball back across goal.

His, and Hinckley's, second of the afternoon came on 35 minutes with Hall again the provider. His long throw caused confusion in the Cambridge defence and Webster was on-hand to turn the ball home. He claimed his hat-trick just before the half-time whistle and he had Hall's creativity to thank once more. After playing a short corner to Neil Cartwright, Hall collected the return ball, beat two defenders and laid the ball back for Webster to finish.

An Andy Gooding free-kick made it 4-0 to the visitors midway through the second half and Webster grabbed his fourth goal from the penalty spot.

Webster pipped previous 'E.ON Player of the Round' winner, Mark Danks, to top spot in the poll and the Hinckley frontman can now look forward to receiving his commemorative trophy and two VIP tickets to The FA Cup Final on 15 May.

Hinckley United entertain Histon in the Fourth Round Qualifying on Saturday.

A five-strong panel, which includes FA Cup hero, Ricky George, will nominate their candidates after each round (up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite on TheFA.com.
