Young Lions to face DPR Korea, Argentina and Mexico in World Cup.



The draw has been made for the first round of games at this summer's FIFA U20 World Cup and England have been drawn out in Group F alongside DPR Korea, U20 World Cup record winners Argentina and Mexico.

Taking place in Cartagena in northern Colombia, before the draw was made there were speeches given by FIFA vice-president Jack Warner and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon in front of over 600 guests.

It was then onto the draw, which was compèred by Gordon Savic and made by the Mayor of Cartagena Judith Pinedo, former Colombian internationals Oscar Cordoba and Carlos Valderrama and the gifted Yoreli Rincon, who will be running out for Colombia at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany later this summer.

Brian Eastick's team were picked in the final group to be selected and will face DPR Korea in Medellin first on Friday 29 July, before they take on Argentina on Monday 1 August, again in Medellin. They then wrap their group games up in Cartagena where they play Mexico on Thursday 4 August.
