Sunderland and Leeds United will compete for The FA Women’s Premier League Cup on Sunday 6 May after they overcame Blackburn Rovers and Coventry City respectively in the Semi-Finals.
The current FA Women’s Premier League National Division champions, Sunderland, eased past Northern Division high-fliers Blackburn with a comfortable 8-0 dismissal in Hetton le Hope, helped in no small way by Keira Ramshaw's hat-trick.
Tanya Rich and substitute Emma Johnson were the Leeds heroes as the 2010 Cup winners – then known as Leeds Carnegie – booked their place at Northampton Town’s Sixfields Stadium in two weeks’ time.
Barnet lifted last season’s Premier League Cup after beating Nottingham Forest on penalties in The Final, which was held at Adams Park, home of Wycombe Wanderers.
