England Women's U19s to face Finland as Euro prep hots up

England will take on Finland later this month as they ramp up their preparations for the elite qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s U19 Championship.

The match will take place at Eerikkilä Sports Institute on Friday 24 November (1pm kick-off).

Rehanne Skinner will take charge of the side as head coach Mo Marley will be overseeing the senior team’s World Cup qualifier against Bosnia in Walsall on the same day.

The Young Lionesses made it through the initial round of Euro qualifying with victories over Kazakhstan, Wales and Slovenia.

The draw for the elite qualifying round will be held in Nyon on 24 November.

Goalkeepers: Emily Ramsey (Liverpool), Katie Startup (Charlton Athletic – on loan from Chelsea).

Defenders: Esme Morgan (Manchester City), Ellie Fletcher (Liverpool), Grace Smith (University of West Virginia), Lotte Wubben-Moy (University of North Carolina), Poppy Pattinson (Manchester City), Flo Allen (Bristol City), Kelsey Pearson (Blackburn Rovers), Beth O’Donnell Manchester City).

Midfielders: Connie Scofield (Birmingham City), Jessie Jones (Yeovil Town), Rebecca Rayner (Doncaster Rovers Belles), Lauren Hemp (Bristol City)
