Hundreds of local schoolchildren and guests were in attendance as the England team trained in Chantilly on Tuesday morning.

The squad arrived in the French town the previous afternoon before taking part in a behind-closed-doors session later in the day.

Mayor of Chantilly Eric Woerth kicked off the session by addressing the crowd to officially welcome the Three Lions to the town. Roy Hodgson also took to the microphone, thanking the people of the town for their hospitality – in French, of course!

The squad then took part in a light session in front of the assembled media, with Ryan Bertrand working separately as he approaches full fitness following a recent knock.

There was still time to sign autographs and pose for photos before the group headed back to their hotel in Chantilly, with Daniel Sturridge and Kyle Walker both taking time to speak to the media before departing.
