SSE Women's FA Cup early round draws made at Wembley

The draws for the opening two rounds of this season’s SSE Women’s FA Cup have been made.

There are two ties in the first round qualifying with South Shields taking on Gateshead Leam Rangers and Wigan Athletic entertaining MSB Woolton.

Both ties will take place on Sunday 4 September.

There are 80 ties in the second round qualifying and these will all take place on Sunday 18 September.

Two hundred and fifty-four clubs have been accepted into this season’s competition.

FA WSL 2 clubs are exempt until the third round proper, while FA WSL 1 sides will enter at the fifth round stage.

Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 in last season’s Final to win the Cup for the 14th time.

This season’s Final will take place on Saturday 13 May 2017.
