And the Middlesbrough midfielder will be seeing a lot more of the national football centre in the coming weeks after signing on loan for Burton Albion.
The League Two side train at St. George’s Park through the week and new Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has swooped to sign the 18-year-old for an initial month.
Morris was in Burton as recently as last week, when he was training with Sean O’Driscoll’s U19s squad ahead of their impressive 3-0 win over Italy at Rotherham’s New York Stadium.
Hasselbaink is a former Boro player himself and was appointed as Burton’s new boss last week following the departure of Gary Rowett to Birmingham City.
The Brewers play Luton Town in Hasselbaink’s first home game at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday and Morris, who made his debut for Boro last season, will be in contention for a place in the squad.
