Both teams are playing in their first FA Sunday Cup Final, which will take place on Sunday 26 April.

Blackburn Rovers also hosted last season’s Final, when Humbledon Plains Farm beat Oyster Martyrs 5-2

Mike Birt, Chairman of The FA Sunday Cup Committee, said: “Ewood Park is a magnificent stadium and we’re delighted that Blackburn Rovers FC has agreed to host this Final for the second year running after such a successful spectacle was staged last season.”

Blackburn club secretary Ian Silvester says the Championship club are looking forward to the return of the Sunday Cup to Ewood Park.

“Blackburn Rovers are honoured to be chosen by The Football Association to host The FA Sunday Cup Final for the second successive year," he said.

“We look forward to welcoming representatives from The FA along with the players, management and supporters of both Campfield and OJM. We hope that everyone enjoys their big day out at Ewood Park.”

Ewood Park, currently with a 31,000 capacity, is one of our most famous football grounds. Its many prestigious matches have included six FA Cup semi-finals.
