The English FA will be represented across a number of FIFA’s new Standing Committees, after they were published on Tuesday 7 October 2025.

English FA Chair Debbie Hewitt MBE, who serves as one of the European Vice Presidents on the FIFA Council, will act as the FIFA Council Delegate on the Women’s Football Stakeholders Committee.

English FA CEO Mark Bullingham has been appointed as a member of the Men’s National Team Competitions Committee, while English FA director of women’s football, Sue Day MBE, has been selected as a member of the Women’s National Team Competitions Committee.

There is also English representation on the Referees Committee, with former Premier League and BWSL official and PGMOL women's professional group manager Rebecca Welch appointed as a member.

The appointments are for a four-year term, running from 2025 to 2029, and were made following a consultation process involving all 211 FIFA Member Associations and the six confederations.
