Ali Uzunhasanoglu suspended
Peterborough United’s first team goalkeeping coach has been suspended from all football and football-related activity for one month and fined £250 following breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules.
Ali Uzunhasanoglu was charged with misconduct under FA Rule E8 in respect of 1,144 bets placed on football matches between 04 August 2018 and 08 October 2023, which he subsequently admitted.
An independent Regulatory Commission imposed his sanctions following a hearing. The one-month suspension was suspended providing that Ali Uzunhasanoglu does not commit any further betting breaches until 30 June 2025. The written reasons for these decisions are below.
