As part of our ongoing commitment to your privacy and data protection rights, we have reviewed and updated our Privacy Policy page to improve the user experience. In summary, these changes include:
• Consolidation of a number of privacy policies into a single main policy, with specific ‘drop-downs’ related to your role in football or interaction with The FA
• Increased transparency over how The FA uses your personal data, with more examples (and our legal basis) displayed in easy to navigate tables
• Removal of some older privacy policies for expired initiatives, or where the content is now otherwise covered by the updated policy
• Updates to our retention periods which are now displayed in a standalone section of our policy
Please note that privacy polices related to certain FA products (e.g. Fulltime, Matchday, Whole Game System) remain unchanged and as before, can be found at the bottom of the page. In due course, these policies will also be updated and placed onto their relevant product page. We will provide a further update when this work has been completed.
