Lifting the Lid, the official Emirates FA Cup podcast, has today launched across all major platforms, with episode one of a six-part series featuring exclusive interviews and insights from some of the competition’s biggest icons available now.
The series, which is hosted by the former midfielder Steve Sidwell and TV presenter Tubes, features bespoke discussions with Peter Crouch, Ian Wright, Jermaine Pennant, Jonathan Walters, Stan Collymore, Bobby Zamora and Jermaine Beckford.
The episodes will be released each Thursday over the next six weeks and cover the players’ careers on and off the pitch, with a particular focus on memories of the Emirates FA Cup in its 150th anniversary season, and provide insights into areas such as mental health, the media and cult hero status.
