Travel Club members to be emailed results ahead of sale next week

The initial ballot has been conducted and the results will now begin to be emailed to supporters this week.

Supporters will receive one of two emails as per our update on Monday 10 May:

  1. An email outlining their results in the ballot

    OR

  2. An email outlining that they were not entered into the first ballot but are ‘in line’ for any unsold and / or additional tickets

Members who were successful in the ballot will be able to purchase their tickets from 1pm on Tuesday 18 May until 1pm on Friday 21 May via UEFA’s Ticketing Website.

Please be aware that the sale is not first-come-first-serve.  If you have been successfully allocated a ticket in this ballot you will have until the closing date to complete your purchase at the category you were offered.

If you are purchasing on another member’s behalf you will need their name, passport number, FAN number, date of birth and access code(s).  If you get any of this information incorrect, or the details of the individual do not match every field we have on file, your entire order may be cancelled.  We will be unable to check this information until the sale window is over so please ensure you enter it in correctly in the first instance.

Prior to the sale we will be publishing a step-by-step guide for purchase tickets.  If you experience any issues when the sale opens please refer to this in the first instance.  We will also provide a link through to UEFA's ticketing page to all members in the sale.

Every member will be emailed their results individually.  However, members under the age of 18 will have their results emailed to their parent or guardian's email address.  The under 18s name will be included within the email to avoid confusion.

If you were unsuccessful for tickets to any game at this stage that does not mean you might not be successful in a future ballot.

Once the sale ends, we will take stock of the remaining unsold tickets and conduct a further ballot.

We will continue this process until all tickets are sold out, communicate the number of remaining tickets to members and if another ballot is to be conducted.

For information on which groups will be considered in which order, please view our recent FAQs story.

Important information to consider for the sale

  • Sales are not first-come-first serve. If you have been successful in the ballot you will be able to purchase that ticket, in that category, until the sale ends.

  • If you are purchasing on another member’s behalf you will need their name, passport number, FAN number and Date of Birth. If you get any of this information incorrect, or the details of the individual do not match every field we have on file, your entire order may be cancelled

  • Any tickets you are offered are no longer ‘all or nothing’. For example, you could be successful for all matches but now only decide you want to go to one. Refusing to purchase a ticket for a match will not negatively impact your chances in a later ballot

  • For any single match you can buy tickets for any Travel Club member, regardless of if they were in your original group, but only if they have been successful in the same category as you. For example, Paul, Rachel and Amre all originally had category 3 tickets for England v Scotland. The new ballot was run and Paul and Rachel were successfully allocated category 3 tickets. However, Amre was allocated a category 2 ticket. In this scenario Paul and Rachel can purchase their tickets for this match in the same order but Amre will have to order separately

  • Members can be included in different group orders for different games. For example, Amre can purchase on his own for England v Scotland but can also be in another order with Paul and Rachel for England v Croatia (assuming he has been allocated the same category as them for this game)

  • If you have not yet received your refund from UEFA please note that you will need to contact them directly as The FA will be unable to assist with these queries

  • This ballot is for the Group Stage matches only. Should England progress to the Round of 16 and or Quarter Finals, we will conduct the ballots for these matches with all members who were originally successful for tickets, regardless of whether they returned them or not, due to the ambiguity over venues, travel restrictions and ticket refunds

  • Please refer to the sale help guide in the first instance if you are experiencing issues once the sale opens.
