Tariq Lamptey has received his first call-up to the England MU21s squad for the forthcoming 2021 UEFA U21 EURO Championship qualifiers.
The Brighton & Hove Albion defender has previously represented the Young Lions at MU18 through to MU20 level in recent seasons, after initially emerging through Chelsea's academy teams.
And head coach Aidy Boothroyd has added him to the group who are currently preparing for the trips to Kosovo and Austria later this week.
However, Boothroyd will also be without Eberechi Eze and Reece James who have returned to Crystal Palace and Chelsea respectively.
