Oldham Athletic FC’s Neil Skidmore has six-match ground ban for FA Rule E3 breaches

Oldham Athletic FC’s Sports Science and Performance Analyst, Neil Skidmore, has been given a six-match ground ban, £300 fine and ordered to complete an education course by an independent Regulatory Commission following two breaches of FA Rule E3. 

Neil Skidmore admitted using abusive and/or insulting words towards Stevenage FC’s stadium security staff members on two separate occasions while being ejected before a fixture in the EFL League Two on 14 January 2020. The words contravened FA Rule E3(1) and constituted an “Aggravated breach”, which is defined in FA Rule E3(2), on both occasions as they included a reference to disability and sexual orientation respectively.
