Burnley moved up to second in the FA Women’s National League Northern Division after a 3-0 win over Sheffield FC.

Clarets youngster Leanne Prescott broke the deadlock in the first half, while Sarah Greenhalgh and Evie Priestley strikes completed the scoring after the break.

Huddersfield Town continued their impressive form in front of goal as they eased to 6-0 win at Middlesbrough.

The match between Fylde and West Bromwich Albion was abandoned due to bad weather.

Meanwhile, there was only one match in the Southern Division as Portsmouth won 2-1 at Cardiff City.
