England’s UEFA EURO 2020 preparations have started to take shape, following our qualification for next summer’s tournament.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions will play successive games at Wembley Stadium connected by EE in March 2020 – the second of which will be against fellow finalists Denmark - before a further two fixtures away from London in June 2020.

On Friday 27 March (opposition and kick-off to be confirmed), we'll dedicate an England men’s international to the Heads Up campaign.

Supported by Heads Together and spearheaded by our president, HRH The Duke of Cambridge, the campaign harnesses the influence and popularity of football to encourage more people – particularly men – to feel comfortable talking about their mental health. More information on that fixture will be confirmed in early 2020.

Denmark will then visit Wembley on Tuesday 31 March (8pm kick-off) for what will be England’s 20th meeting with the Danes.

The last of those games was a 1-0 win at Wembley in March 2014, when a late goal from Daniel Sturridge was enough to seal victory for Roy Hodgson’s side as they began preparations for that year’s World Cup in Brazil.

Raheem Sterling was man-of-the-match against Denmark on their last visit to Wembley in 2014

Age Hareide’s current side secured their own place at EURO 2020 with a 1-1 draw against Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Monday evening, to finish second in Group D. Full ticket details for that fixture are below.

We can also confirm that England will go back on the road in June, ahead of next summer’s finals, following the success of the Three Lions' games at Sunderland, Manchester City, Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton over the last four years.

And a further pre-tournament fixture is scheduled to be played elsewhere in Europe, with details to be confirmed in due course.

The EURO 2020 group-stage draw will take place in Bucharest on Saturday 30 November and England’s opening game will be on Sunday 14 June with all three group stage matches to be played at Wembley.

London is one of 12 host cities as part of UEFA’s plans to mark the 60th anniversary of the European Championship.
