England Women's U21 squad named for U23 Nordic Tournament

Jess Carter will travel to Sweden with Mo Marley's squad

The England squad for the U23 Open Nordic Tournament has been named.

Mo Marley’s side face Norway [on Sunday 26 May], China [Thursday 30 May] before a meeting with the Netherlands [Saturday 1 June] in Sweden.

Head coach Marley said: “This tournament builds on from our recent trip to La Manga – it’s another fantastic opportunity to experience playing against three very different teams and we’re all looking forward to developing further as a group.

“It’s a really exciting time.

“Our seniors are preparing for the World Cup in France and our youth teams are competing at their respective age group tournaments, a significant part of their journey to becoming senior Lionesses.”
