England Women's U17s edge closer to Euro finals with win over Hungary

England Women's U17s are one point away from Bulgaria 2019

Eleanor Dale scored a brace to help England Women’s Under-17s defeat Hungary and move to within one point of the Euro finals.

The Middlesbrough forward bagged her double either side of the half-hour mark while Fran Stables completed the victory just after the break.

Gemma Grainger’s side, who eased to an 8-0 dismissal of Georgia on Thursday, are two points clear at the top of their elite qualifying round group with just one match remaining, against Greece on Wednesday, when a draw would be enough to seal a place in Bulgaria in May.
