Our team of young writers will be providing Emirates FA Cup content

Our team of young reporters will be providing reports from ties in various FA competitions this season

TheFA.com will showcase reports on matches in this season's Emirates FA Cup, and other competitions, from aspiring young reporters.

As part of an exciting new programme called the FA Young Reporters’ Club, we will be publishing content from volunteer writers which will put a spotlight on young writing talent as well as clubs at all levels of the football pyramid.

The programme starts with the very first round of the Emirates FA Cup – the extra preliminary round – but will also extend to women’s competitions, The FA Youth Cup and more as the campaign progresses.

Our young reporters, aged 18-24, will bring the colour and flavour of the cups to TheFA.com, with a few games featured in each round.

Their reports won’t be traditional match reports – they will of course discuss what happened in the games, but more importantly they will bring the fabric of the competitions to life.

The members of our programme are excited to bring you their reports from the games, and they’re also looking forward to the mentoring and feedback their work will get from experienced journalists and industry experts as we go along the journey. If you're interested in joining the Young Reporters' Club, email us at editorial@thefa.com. Please note you need to be 18 or over in order to join.

We hope you remember to return here in later rounds to read our members' perspective on the matches they reported on and celebrate the teams and clubs who take part in The FA competitions. Take a look at what some members have produced so far:
