Jessica Carter will miss Tuesday's match against Russia
Jessica Carter and Melissa Lawley will miss England Women’s game against Russia through injury.
The duo have both suffered thigh injuries and will not travel with the squad to Merseyside later today, ahead of next week’s game.
The Lionesses will play Russia in their opening 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier at Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park on Tuesday 19 September (7pm KO).
