Free conference in May to explore promoting refereeing to different communities

Thursday 23 Mar 2017
Referee Jo Stimpson

A free-to-attend conference will be held at St. George’s Park in May to explore how refereeing in football can become more diverse and inclusive.

The FA and Professional Game Match Officials Limited [PGMOL] have joined forces to deliver the event, which takes place at the National Football Centre in Burton on Sunday 7 May.

Referees and refereeing decision makers will be present including Lisa Rashid, Stuart Attwell, Stephen Child, Neale Barry and the FA referees department.

This is an excellent opportunity to share experiences with other referees from diverse backgrounds, hear from refereeing role models and gain an appreciation of the opportunities available to referees.

Anyone wishing to attend should email kevin.coleman@thefa.com to register their interest.
