Parris has been a regular in England youth teams and scored the winner for England U23s against Germany in La Manga last month.

Sampson said: "Nikita deserves this call up and we're really pleased she is joining the squad for our trip to Bosnia.

"She has been a regular in our youth teams and has impressed at every level. She's also got good experience of youth tournaments which will stand her in good stead at senior level.

"She trained with us at St George's Park last week and she was sharp and impressive."

The Lionesses, who drew 1-1 with Belgium on Friday in front of a packed crowd at Rotherham United, will play Bosnia in Zenica on Tuesday 12 April in their EURO 2017 qualifying campaign (KO 3pm BST).
