London and Yorkshire derbies in SSE Women's FA Cup draw

The SSE Women's FA Cup

The draw for the second round proper of the SSE Women's FA Cup has been made at Wembley Stadium.

And there are London and Yorkshire derbies in the offing as FA Women's Premier League South East Division leaders Crystal Palace have been paired with FAWPL Southern Division outfit West Ham United while Northern Division sides Bradford City Women and Huddersfield Town will also meet.

Winning clubs to receive £300

Preston North End, who currently sit third in the FAWPL Northern Division, face fifth-placed Derby County, as leaders Nottingham Forest await the winners of the Morecambe v Chester-Le-Street Town tie, which was postponed on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Southern Division leaders Brighton & Hove Albion will welcome Luton Town, who are second in the South East Division, and Cardiff City travel to face Portsmouth in a match between the Southern Division's third and fourth-placed sides.

Leicester City, who were the biggest winners in Sunday's first round ties after beating Stone Dominoes 8-0, will play Radcliffe Olympic.

Ties are due to be played on Sunday 10 January with the winning clubs picking up £300 from The FA's Prize Fund and place in the third round, when The FA Women's Super League 2 clubs join the fray.

The top-flight teams join the action in the fifth round in March.
