Sampson will also be looking ahead to England’s historic match against Germany at Wembley on Sunday 23 November.

It will be the first time that England Women will play at the new Wembley Stadium and they face a tough test against the European Champions.

Sampson said: "Every opportunity that we can work together as a group is crucially important to us in the lead up to the World Cup.

“The challenge now is to raise the bar every time we are together, starting with this camp in October and we have to make every day count. There is no match so our focus will be on developing every aspect of our game and ask the players to push themselves to another level.

“We have a strong, talented group and competition for places is fierce so every player knows this is an important camp.

“We also have a strong test against a very good German side at Wembley next month, so this time will be useful in starting our preparations for that match.”
