The IAB convened on Tuesday

The FA's Inclusion Advisory Board met on Tuesday and its Chair Heather Rabbatts has issued a statement.

She said: "The FA's Inclusion Advisory Board has now met and concluded a thorough and constructive debate on gender equality and sexism across the game.

"We discussed and welcomed the apology and contrition shown by Richard Scudamore on the issue and the commitment to an open dialogue on the important issues of inclusion and diversity.

"We will be positive and proactive in working with the Premier League and others in the game to achieve inclusion, to see through and make it real.

"As the Chairman of The FA stated earlier he has asked me to meet with the Premier League to take this forward.

"It continues an important debate on how we empower women and men to have conversations about respect and dignity in the workplace as well as driving a host of other initiatives to support equality across the game."
