England Under-21s got their preparations for this week's Euro qualifier with Wales underway at St. George's Park, with a training session on Monday morning.

Gareth Southgate's squad met up at the national football centre on Sunday evening, after what had been a busy weekend for many of the players.

And that was reflected in the first session of the meet-up, with some players taking part in a recovery session and others enjoying the warm up before a pool recovery.

The rest of the squad, those who had only made substitute appearances for their clubs over the weekend, took part in the full training session.

There was a larger than normal audience in place too, with a number of coaches from club academies invited along to observe the Under-21s' training and preparation.

England play Wales on Wednesday evening at Derby County's iPro Stadium and tickets are still on sale for the game, priced at £10 for adults £5 for concessions. These can be purchased in person from the Digonex Ticket Office, by calling 0871 472 1884 (option 1) or by visiting WeAreDerby.com
