Information for Players, Clubs and Match Officials

There are FA Regulations relating to advertising on the clothing of Players, Club Officials and Match Officials and also Law 4 of the Laws of the Game.

Players should refrain from the following:

● Wearing an undergarment beneath their match shirt or shorts which has a manufacturer’s logo clearly visible.
● Wearing or revealing any item of clothing displaying any personal message.

Players and Club Officials who breach The FA Regulations relating to advertising on their clothing or Law 4 may be subject to disciplinary proceedings.

We also would encourage clubs and clothing manufacturers to seek feedback at the earliest possible time in relation to designs and advertising from The FA and their specific competition.
