The World Anti-Doping Code is the core document that harmonises anti-doping policies, rules and regulations across worldwide sport. It is periodically reviewed and updated, roughly every six years. The current version of the Code entered into force on 1 January 2021. FIFA is a signatory to the Code, and revised their Anti-Doping Regulations reflecting changes to the Code on 1 January 2021.
