This year will be the first time that England has hosted senior international tournament football since 1996 and we’re looking forward to recreating the sense of unity and excitement of EURO ’96 during the summer of 2020.
To achieve this, The FA has developed a national participation programme, THE FA FIVES, aimed at increasing engagement in UEFA EURO 2020 and ensuring the tournament experience and excitement is felt right across England.
Our vision for the Programme is to engage the nation in UEFA EURO 2020 through an inclusive and accessible football participation event that offers multiple touchpoints up and down the country.
The nation's biggest five-a-side football festival
The campaign is a great opportunity to build on the success of The FA People’s Cup in recent years and create a fun celebration of the grassroots game in the immediate lead up to UEFA EURO 2020.
THE FA FIVES is the nation’s largest and most inclusive small-sided football festival, free to enter and played in 5-a-side format over three rounds:
|2 & 3 May 2020||Round One||100+ events nationwide|
|30 & 31 May 2020||Regional finals||5 locations across England|
|12 - 13 June 2020||National finals||London|
