SESSION: creativity in the attacking third

In this session, FA county coach developer, Gordon Staniforth, delivers a small group practice with grassroots players focusing on creative play in the final third.
These sessions are currently for reflection purposes only and any current activity taking place must follow government and FA guidelines.
Key objectives
During the session players will develop their understanding of:
- 1v1 and 2v1 attacking techniques
- receiving and protecting the ball
- receiving to play forward
- dribbling to shoot
- finishing skills
- combination play.
