The downloadable document includes tools and information to support the mental health of anyone working in sport. 

Guidance for supporting the mental health of sports staff, coaches, volunteers and participants has today been launched by mental health charity, MIND. 

The downloadable document has been created to offer guidance, good practice, tools and insight that supports the mental health of anyone working, volunteering and participating in sport and physical activity.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has had - and continues to have - a huge impact on our mental health. 

And it has never been more important to look after your own mental health, as well as being available to respond to challenges faced by those around you. 

The guidance document includes tools such as the New Economic Foundation’s Five Ways to Wellbeing - one of the most widely used frameworks to help you maintain your mental health. 

And there are top tips for supporting your team at every stage of their return, helping your players get back into football safely, and how to manage conversations if someone needs a helping hand.
